There is plenty of support available to employers when thinking about taking on an apprentice as well as during and after hiring one. Whether you're wanting advice or funding, there will always be support there.
Below are some links to additional support and information about apprenticeships:

Support available to employers
When it comes to funding an apprenticeship, there is support available for all businesses big and small. This support is the Apprenticeship Levy.
If you’re an employer with a pay bill over £3 million a year, you must pay the apprenticeship levy. Employers with a pay bill of less than £3 million a year will not need to pay the levy. At least 90% of non-levy-paying employers’ apprenticeship training and assessment costs in England will be paid for by the government. The government will ask these employers to make a 10% cash contribution to the cost, paid directly to the provider, and the government covers the rest (up to the maximum agreed funding band).
The purpose of the Levy is to give employers the ability to create opportunities for people across the country to develop skills and knowledge to boost their careers and in turn, helps British businesses thrive. For more information of the Apprenticeship Levy, visit the GOV guide to apprenticeship funding here.
In this video, we take a look at what funding could be available to small businesses when taking on an apprentice.
